     Hi everyone!  Thanks for stopping by.  This simple page contains pictures of the wonderful vacation Brianna and I took to Daytona Beach.  THIS WAS HER 10th BIRTHDAY PRESENT!!!! so she chose where to go and what to do (glad she didn't say California).  We spent five days exploring Daytona Beach , Orlando and Universal Studios.  We both had the time of our lives.  It was just the two of us so I wasn't able to go scuba diving (got certified in June and own all the equipment) but it still was a fantastic time.
     I have to say that Brianna is the most pleasant person to travel with.  Even at just under 10 years old she didn't complain the entire drive down or back.  She only cried once when she bumped her nose on a door while entering a gas station (hehehe).  Heck she wanted Subway over Red Lobster and even agreed to go to a museum!  What a kid!
     Since it was her birthday present, I did something I have NEVER done on vacation - bought souvenirs and shopped!  She loved it!  Heck, who wouldn't.  She had free-rain on what she could buy and she didn't hurt my pocket too bad.  Don't think I'll have many more years like that - ha!
     Well the weather was great by the ocean.  There were no flies, gnats or any other pests bothering us.  Even when we walked the beach at night we never were harassed by bug!  The temperature seemed perfect all the time and I rarely broke a sweat.
     We spent two days at Universal Studios (but still stayed at Daytona Beach) and had pretty good weather.  It was a little hot on the first day, but when we went back the second time it was perfect.  Most of the lines were about a 20 minute wait so that wasn't bad.  Besides, Universal keeps you entertained while you wait in line with all sorts of cool stuff based on the theme of the ride, so the wait goes by quickly. Most importantly the rides where all great!!!
     I have been blessed with a wonderful child.  I pray that it stays like this for allot longer.  My little angel, a.k.a. "NaNute".

Okay Bri, I took the pictures of your footprints because watching them appear and wash away reminded me of how fast our time together passes and the moments are washed away into an ocean of special memories... or something like that. :-)
